How to create DBF

Hello

Normaly i create a DBF with dbAdmin and not with x#.

I testet it now. On the screenshot TestVO.dbf is made with dbAdmin and TestDB.dbf with X#.
There is a little differenz.
Does it matter ?

Horst,
The difference that you are referring to is the 0x61 and 0x62 in position 8 (0 based).
This indicates the location where the header ends and where the data starts.
When the file has zero records (like your example) then some xbase dialects differ there with 1 byte.
But you do not have to be afraid. The DBF will work the same with both values.
