Well, that's for sure thanks to the progress in electronics. A screen like this would be way to expensive say 10 years ago.

Hi Dick
Johan
PS: It costed about the same price as what I paid in 1993 for the Clipper Developers Conference (T-shirt), hope it will also stood the test of time for 25 years.
I totally agree, would not in my life thought I would own a computer screen that large. Luckily if my sight improve I can always demote it to the lounge.... well that is if I don't get too attached to it...ic2 wrote:Well, that's for sure thanks to the progress in electronics. You got a bad ass monitor. Is that curvy? 4K? Freesync? or Gsync. No idea what I am talking about, but I love a monitor like this. It makes my perspective wider.

Hi Rene,
Regards,
Johan
No not a monitor, is a 50inch Sansui Curved Ultra Hi Definition Television Set, SVGA and HDMI port. Price perspective in SA more Screen for less money than a computer screen. Costed +-Euro300.rjpajaron wrote:You got a bad ass monitor. Is that curvy? 4K? Freesync? or Gsync. No idea what I am talking about, but I love a monitor like this. It makes my perspective wider.
