ALPIlog is logistics planning software for a window construction company. Originally developed in Vulcan.NET and WinForms, the application uses a MySQL database and was primarily built for the beta version of Windows 8 as a touch application, intended for use by logistic personnel on Windows tablets.
Due to performance issues with the WinForms ListView, which was too slow on low-powered tablets (Atom processor with only 2 GB of memory), the application uses the iGrid component from 10Tec Software.
This software, developed with VIDE, was migrated to X# in November 2016 in under an hour, and has been running smoothly in its X# version ever since. As of February 2017, the application also uses the VO-compatible class libraries compiled with X#, again without any issues.
