[*].NET Core 3.0 Preview 1 adds support for building client apps using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Forms, and XAML Islands.
[*]WPF, Windows Forms, and Windows UI XAML Library (WinUI) are now open source.

Thanks for the update.
They have also released VS 2019 Preview 1.
The X# installer recognizes this and installs the VS integration.
You don't see VS 2019 listed as new version at install time.
As far as the installer is concerned this is just another variation of VS 2017.
I will change this in the next installer.
